Thank you to everyone who joined us for our tastings as part of

It’s often the slightly unexpected events — the ones where we’re not entirely sure how they’ll pan out — that end up being the most brilliant.

This one certainly shone.

Those of you who came along on Thursday or Friday caught Renata and I back in action as a bit of a double act - something we haven’t done in a while. It felt good to step back into the spotlight together and spark a few lively conversations around the drams.

I hope the setting felt warm and welcoming, and that our eclectic line-up truly illuminated your palates, brightened your thinking, and maybe even helped a few flavour notes come to light.

Thank you for bringing the glow - you made the evenings what they were.

Until the next bright idea… 🥃

🥃 Time to start that Christmas shopping!

Whisky Tasting Experiences - our most popular gift, your giftee can enjoy one of our group sessions to learn about ‘the water of life’.

For full details head to our bio and the link is there.

26/11/2025

We’re currently running our whisky tastings from , our temporary home and a very cosy place to lose an hour in good company and good drams.

Each session is led by our whisky experts who love nothing more than talking fermentation, distillery stories, barrels, flavour quirks, and the odd trick that makes whisky suddenly make sense on your palate. These aren’t generic “sip and nod” tastings — they’re proper deep dives, made easy to enjoy no matter your level.

You can pick from four tasting styles:

🌍 World of Whisky — £30

A relaxed trip through global drams, comparing styles and discovering what different countries do differently (and brilliantly).

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Tour of Scotland — £40

Islay peat, Highland fruit, Speyside finesse — a solid tour of what makes Scotch taste the way it does, region by region.

🇯🇵 Story of Japan — £40

Elegant, precise, quietly brilliant whiskies with the stories and techniques that make Japanese production so distinctive.

✨ Premium — £70

Our indulgent one — rare bottles, special casks, bigger stories, bigger flavours.

Wherever you start, you’ll walk out knowing more, tasting better, and possibly with a new favourite whisky.
All tastings take place at the Good Intent pub.
