🍺 NEW ON THE BAR – BUDVAR 🍺

We're pleased to announce that Budweiser Budvar Czech Lager is now pouring at Gallaghers Traditional Pub.

Brewed in České Budějovice in the Czech Republic, Budvar has been produced using traditional brewing methods since 1895. It's a premium Czech lager with a crisp, clean taste, subtle bitterness and a smooth malt finish.

If you're a fan of quality lager and fancy trying something a little different, pop in and give it a go.

Howdy folks! Just to let you know that Pete, your favourite guitar playing mule, is currently out on the trail, so our scheduled Gallagher's session this coming Sunday 24th May, won't be taking place on this occasion. (20 Chester Street, Woodside, Birkenhead, Wirral, CH41 5DQ.) However, there is some good news! Your favourite drumming mule (Dave) has recently teamed up with a couple of other pesky varmints going by the name of the Rowdy Roosters and they will play on Sunday instead (filling in one time for Pete). The fun starts at 6pm, and the set will finish at about 8pm. Expect a live and lively set of upbeat rock covers, rock and roll and blues, plus a few good laughs along the way. The weather forecast is looking great and the next day is a bank holiday so yippee! The great beer will be flowing (including several real ales) and the kitchen will be serving up excellent food (until about 8.15pm). There's already been lots of interest in this session folks, so why not come down to Gallagher's this coming Sunday for 6pm, as it's looking like it could be a good 'un! We're planning to put on a memorable performance that's something to crow about! C**k a doodle doo..!
