We’ve been a long time quiet, hope everyone is well. We miss seeing so many friendly faces.

Just a heads up to all you music fans out there. We have two spare tickets to anyone who fancies catching the wonderful Finlay Napier at Roberton Hall tonight. No cost, first to comment can have them.

For anyone too slow to be first, but still wishes to go, there are limited tickets available on the door, but a quick message to Alison on 07974 019871 would be best to secure.

The hall in Roberton are doing a great job to bring some of the finest artists to the area, but they need the support of as many music lovers as possible to make it happen.

Just had a text message on my phone, telling me today is the last day to apply for Winter Fuel Allowance. Just checked and you do not need to apply in Scotland. BEWARE this is almost certainly a scam.

Hopefully It’s not too late to wish all Music lovers and Wee Gig followers a very happy and music filled 2025? It’s now a year since our last Wee Gig, the superb Gordie Tentrees and Jaxon Haldane. The reason for this vacuum is that we are now semi-retired and packing in lots of travel, making it difficult to organise and promote the shows, and to be honest, we have no plans to organise any gigs in the near future.

Which is why I was so thrilled to receive an email from Scott Hutchinson, one of the regular supporters of our gigs. Over the coming summer (yes, it will come eventually), Scott has plans to organise a series of small shows in the brilliant Arcadia Music Cafe in Biggar. Scott hopes to announce the first gig soon and we will bring this news to you as soon as we know the details.

So until then, keep your ears and eyes open, for any announcements and updates, and when the shows come around, please help Scott make these shows a success.
