A wide selection of drinks, from Real Ale's to Jågerbombs to local Ciders. The Barrels Ale House is the best venue for a night out in Berwick-upon-Tweed. We have 5 Real Ales on tap at any one time, we normally have Pentland IPA, and 4 other guest beers for you to try at your pleasure. We also stock Budweiser Budvar, Früli, Bacchus, Druuel and of course Newcastle Brown Ale bottles. There is a Whisky shelf that is higher quality than anyone else in the area with 17 different bottles from The Macallan to Bushmills, Laphroaig, Chivas Regal and Jura. As well as all these great tasting Ales, Whiskys and continental bottled beers, we stock a great selection of Rums, Gins, Tequilas and more exotic alcohols such as Midori, Żubrówka (Bison Grass) and Kahlúa for the more adventurous drinker. The basement is open Friday and Saturday nights (and some sunday nights if there's a live band on) and serves a great selection of cocktails made on request by our resident mixologists.
