We are all set up at Belsay Horse Trials looking forward to the weekend. Belsay has just won International Status 2020 but still continues to support local businesses. Pop along and see us and enjoy a Moroccan spiced Pheasant & Partridge Breast Served on a Flatbread with salad complimented with a Mint & Yogurt Dressing. If you’re looking for something to make your party stand out from the rest then look no further.

The Game Bird (Horsebox) is available for private hire.

No event too large or too small. We cater for weddings, garden parties, Country Show’s Horse Trails, corporate events, media and PR events.

We are available for hire in and around Northumberland, Newcastle & beyond. We can create a completely bespoke package and menu to suit your requirements, whether it’s a Champagne/Prosecco with canapés reception, craft beer and lagers, wine and spirits bar followed by a Hog/Lamb Roast, Burgers or Sausages in a roll.

Weddings & Birthdays
We understand that no wedding or Birthday celebration is the same and you want your day to be like no other. Let us create a completely bespoke package for your special day to ensure everything is just as you want it with the only hiccups on the day coming from the bubbly! We can even meet and greet at the church serving Champagne/Prosecco and Canapés for your guests whilst those all important photographs are taken leaving your guests with the wow factor! .

We work tirelessly perfecting our recipes using only the finest game, Grouse, Pheasant, Partridge, Duck & Venison. We feel strongly that our food is locally sourced using only the finest Northumberland Game and Seafood. Creating a bespoke menu unique to your event.

Shooting Parties
Start your day with bacon or sausage in a roll. Then choose your pegs with a damson or sloe gin.

Let’s break for 11’s

Choose from venison haggis and black pudding scotch eggs,
Pheasant & partridge crochets, Game cocktail sausages, or on that cold day Peri Peri Hot sausages. Warm yourself with a hot Consommé, Damson or Sloe Liquor before heading back to the field….

Guns! This way for Lunch….

Lunch on the Go or lunch in the Lodge, we can cater for both.

Shoot lunches are an integral and important part of the day’s sport, and we realise the how important it is to get it right. From Guns to Beaters we can bespoke a menu to suit your requirements.
