If anyone summed up the
spirit of Radar it was this guy. I’ve been searching for a photo like this all day.

The amount of times we had to calm the situation with security because of you and the influence you had over the 400 people packed in there. It was always amazing. The energy you provided was beautiful.

Thanks for the photo.

Rest easy dude!

10 years ago we decided to do something a little different and create a night for local bands in a great big venue that was absolutely free to attend but didn't compromise on stage, sound, lighting or even beers! We've put on hundreds of these gigs, with a ton of different bands, and hundreds of musicians. Occasionally a touring act would jump on the bill, we constantly had bands cross the border for a party. Basically we've had a lot of fun.

As with a lot of things sometimes the fun has to stop and it feels like that time is now. So on the 22nd October we're gonna throw one last party in the best venue of all the Mandela Hall to celebrate 10 years of amazing music, musicians and people.

There are a heck of a lot of people to thank and we will in due course.

We'll create and event soon and we'll have a proper farewell written but for now stick the date in your diary and come down and see Mojo Fury, Oh Volcano, Hot Cops and Jealous of the Birds take us out in style.
