The Night Institute, David Holmes and Shorts Recreational Club are teaming up for a series of parties and we’re kicking it all off with the Halloween Ball.

After two raucous bank holidays in one of the unique venues in the city, we thought it was time to get our teeth in to something more regular.

We’ve fallen in love with the Shorts Club on Holywood Road, and it seems like everyone on the dancefloor has to.

So this Halloween, dress up, dress down. Fill your boots. This one’s for the dancefloor freaks.

THE NIGHT INSTITUTE x CULTURE NIGHT ❤️‍🔥

Culture Night is one of those days, a bit like the fleadh was, where Belfast really comes to life in its true glory.

There’s nothing we love more than coming across new spaces, and this is another cracker. A perfectly formed little courtyard hidden amongst the hustle and bustle of the cathedral quarter.

There’ll be a fully licensed bar, pizza and small plates available and Timmy and Jordan taking over a belter soundsystem with an extended set.

What a weekend! 😮‍💨

Thanks to everyone who showed up across the bank holiday - from Paranoid London at shorts on Saturday through to an all Irish celebration on Sunday.

Big love to neil and all the team at shorts, Siobhán and her amazing crew at Titanic and of course all at BBC for making Sunday happen - Stephen, Rory, Paul and everyone involved.

To the Irish talent who got involved on Sunday, either DJing, playing live or chatting - David Holmes, Efa O’Neill, Chanty, Scott and Robin Wylie.

And of course to Jack on sound duties across the weekend, Beth on the door, and the fantastic Jonny Delaney on visuals. What a squad. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
