9 years ago I had a vision to turn a little run down building down “piss alley” into a bar that people could come to have fun, whilst being safe and feel part of a community. I am so proud to have been able to achieve this despite not always being an easy ride particularly in recent years, but we overcame these obstacles, continually evolved and consistently strived to keep our doors open for our customers. However….. all good things must come to and end and after the most fantastic 9 years , Luke Magliaro and I Lui Magliaro have made the tough decision to go out on a high and to sell the business. It’s not been an easy choice as we have loved serving our wonderful customers over the years, many of who have become great friends and our Flute family. But it’s time for ventures new and I now need to concentrate on My other business LJ property maintenance & management services. as that continues to grow and go from strength to strength. It is also the time to spend some well deserved quality weekends with my family. I’m extremely proud to have been able to run a successful independent business for this many years in the heart of the town centre not something that many people have been able to achieve. But none of this would have been possible without our loyal customers, our amazing staff, great dj’s, live singers and everyone that has supported us over the years, for that we thank each and every one of you. The bar wouldn’t have been what it is without you!
We have so many great memories to look back on from street parties, halloween parties, New Year’s Eve, Salsa dancing, bottomless brunches and so so much more and with that in mind it would only be appropriate to do a leaving party weekend! This Friday (28th) we will have a dj to keep you entertained and Saturday (29th) we will host the party of all parties with dj’s galore! We really hope you can all come down at some point over the weekend to have a farewell drink with us - we have a bar to drink dry!!! All our love Luca and Lui x
