It’s just over 2 weeks to MacMillan Coffee Morning, Friday 25th September, 10am - midday.
My usual appeal please for tombola or raffle prizes and cakes to sell on the day, all donations gratefully received.
Raffle prizes are already coming in and I will issue a list on 22nd September.
Please pop along and help us to raise money for a fantastic charity.

Fish and chip alert……As we’ve had beer festivals and music nights we are going to do a bonus fish and chips takeaway night on Saturday 5th September between 6pm and 8.30pm. If you wish to eat in the menu will only be haddock or scampi. We recommend pre-ordering takeaways and booking tables as it has proved to be very popular!!! Please note it is Saturday this time…

The end of another Beer Festival, what a great weekend of music courtesy of Huggy Flares, The Reformers and Viviana Canta - Solo Singer. Superb food from Better Than Mamma's, Gurkha Streetfood, with unique tastes curries, noodles and momos and Bettys Meats & Farm Shop.
We managed to dodge most of the rain so a huge thank you to all those who braved the elements and came along to support and a massive thank you to my team who as always worked their socks off.

A belated thank you to Viviana Canta - Solo Singer for a fantastic set on Sunday afternoon, the marquee was a sea of dancers!! As always great food from Bettys Meats & Farm Shop.

There are still some ales and ciders left and as it's the final day of the Beer Festival all beer shed pints are £3. Hopefully it will stay fairly dry this afternoon so make the most of the Bank Holiday and try and drink the barrels dry!!
