Swansea Sound are coming to Esquires on Sunday the 29th November 2026. An indie-pop supergroup, their line up features Hue Williams (The Pooh Sticks), Amelia Fletcher and Rob Pursey (Talulah Gosh, Heavenly, The Catenary Wires), Bob Collins (The Dentists) and Ian Button (Death in Vegas, Railcard).

Formed during lockdown, the band recorded three singles without actually meeting each other but have since recorded live sessions for Riley & Coe (6 Music), John Kennedy (Radio X) and been selected by comedienne Stewart Lee as part of his 'legends of indie' series of gigs in 2025, where he described them as the 'C86 Crass'.
Their debut album 'Live At The Rum Puncheon', was released in 2021, followed by 2023's 'Twentieth Century', both to critical acclaim.

Touring in November and December 2026 in support of their new album, Swansea Sound will be appearing at Esquires on Sunday the 29th of November. Tickets are on sale now from Seetickets.
In association with Arts Council England, a limited number of tickets are available from Seetickets for just £5 to those on a low income or struggling with increases in the cost of living. These reduced price admission tickets are also available to anyone under the age of 25, regardless of their financial situation.
