Evening. Si here. It’s about time I gave you an update.

Some sad news. The Cokeworks has closed its doors. Sorry, folks. 😢

We gave it a go. We wanted to give Beddau something different. Something unique. And in fairness I think we did that. But it wasn’t to be.

Opening a pub in an old newsagents, on the tail end of a pandemic, in an energy and cost of living crisis was probably madness, but we cracked on anyway and had some amazing times in the pub. I could go on and on about what went wrong, but what’s the point. Let’s just think of the good times!

I’d like to thank everyone who has supported us through out our time. For embracing us into the community. To the customers, the charities, the local community groups and the staff. You’ve all been amazing.

Although we are now closed, I am determined to find someone to continue the pub on. So there is hope for the little ‘pop up pub’ yet. Stay tuned!
