Our next Snooker competition is Sunday 14th June in memory of the late Colin Brinded.

This is always a very popular competition so get your name down early!

Our reigning champion is Dec Challis who won the trophy last year.

🎱 Jon Cook Memorial 🎱

Just a friendly notice about our upcoming tournament on Sunday ⬇️

We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone to Waveney Snooker on Sunday for what is set to be our biggest event yet in support of an amazing cause ❤️

As we’re expecting a very large turnout and parking at the club is limited, we’d really appreciate it if players and visitors could use the Quay Car Park where possible to help keep disruption to local residents to a minimum.

It’s only a short walk from the club and inexpensive to park.

We’d also kindly ask everyone to park responsibly and be mindful of local parking restrictions around the club and Fen Lane.

A date for your diaries… 📅

This year, we’re making our annual Jon Cook Memorial event BIGGER and BETTER…

On Sunday 24th May 2026, we’ll be hosting not one, but two charity competitions at WSC.

Both events will run alongside each other in memory of Kieran Cook’s Grandad Jon, who received incredible care on the Sandra Chapman Ward🎗️at the James Paget Hospital. We will also be collecting donations on the day which will be delivered directly to the ward.

We are a friendly, family run snooker centre in beautiful Beccles and everyone is welcome.

Today we have had the fantastic Drinkwaters Peterborough in to re-cloth tables B and 2 👌🏼

Both tables are all done, looking very lovely and ready to be played on!😍

Yesterday we held our Series Event Finale and what a fantastic day of snooker it was 🥳

A huge congratulations to our winner, Paul Sparrow, who defeated Mark Heinz in a tense decider to take home the £1000 top prize. Mark put in a great performance and walks away with £500 👏

Paul also produced breaks of 122 and 107, securing the high break prize in style 🔥

Our losing semi finalists were Shane Williams and Jamie Pownall, both played brilliantly throughout the day.

A a big well done as well to Rhys Harvey, who finished top of the overall rankings and takes home the £100 prize 👏

We would like to give a special thank you to Kieran Cook and Lauren Trinder for their time, effort and fantastic organisation. These events simply would not be possible without you both and we are incredibly grateful.

And finally thank you to everyone who continues to support our tournaments and to all who entered this year’s series. We love welcoming you to WSC and always thoroughly enjoy our competition days.
