Norwich Pride.. One of our favourite weekends of the year 🌈🍻
We were incredibly proud to be trusted by Norwich Pride once again to run the bars for the event.
Here’s what went into making it happen..
Thursday started with an empty site. By the time the gates opened on Saturday, Dudley, Dougie and our purpose-built main bar were in place, alongside a full cellar system featuring the UK’s first automated barrel changers, two refrigerated trailers and enough stock to keep the drinks flowing all day.
Behind the scenes, more than 20 members of the Dudley’s Bars team worked tirelessly, moving over 80 barrels, filling fridges more times than we could count and rarely standing still from Thursday’s build through to Sunday’s pack down.
As always, no event is without its challenges..
One cooler failed during the build, but thanks to our brilliant Cellar Services team, it was repaired before the event even opened.
Then Donnie, one of our vans decided it wanted the weekend off. Thankfully, Norfolk Recovery
came to the rescue and got him home safely.
That’s the part people rarely see and that’s exactly how we like it!
To our team, our suppliers, Norwich Pride, and everyone who stopped by for a drink over the weekend… thank you.
We’re bruised. We’re aching. We’re exhausted. But seeing another incredible Norwich Pride come together made every minute worthwhile.
