Whoops, I got caught up in the excitement of Tranmere’s last game of the season and misread the diary - tonight’s live music comes from Superfly, not Big Business as I put in our last post!

Apologies - the mouth watering prospect of spending the afternoon at Tranmere v Grimsby was clearly too much for me.

The Friends of Mayer Park are in need of a hand with their fantastic project renovating the Rose Garden in the park.

Please get in touch with them if you can help - it’ll make a big difference to the park when the work is completed!

The day is near when we are starting to take up the crazy paving. We would welcome some additional help either for a morning or afternoon starting on May the 7th. You would need a thick pair of gloves and strong shoes. Please message us and let us know if you can help.
If we had 5 extra volunteers each session ( ie am or pm) we would soon get the job done.
If you haven't been able to support us financially this would be a great way to help.
The pavers are small in size one or two are heavy, but obviously there are a fair amount to move.
We will be moving the pavers into bags ready to be crushed.
Please share widely especially if you know any Gladiators💪🦾
