TONIGHT is Amersham Jazz Club`s 58th birthday and The Excelsior Vintage jazz band will be playing, lead by Ron Rumbol, playing Clarinet/alto sax with Cuff Billet on Trumpet, John Wiseman Trombone, Tim Wake Banjo, Heather Birt Bass and John Hall Drums. A great night of live music is assured - New Orleans Tunes with old popular songs. Come on down to Wycombe Marsh British Legion at the bottom of C**k lane tonight for 8.30pm and join the club celebrating its birthday with its Diamond Anniversary in sight ... this is an amazing jazz club that has brought live trad jazz to the Wycombe and Amersham area with a different band every Wednesday night for the last 58 years! With John Maddocks on reeds, Tom Connor - trumpet, Chris Gower - trombone, Chris Satterly - Piano, John Hall - drums, Peter Mc Curry - bass/sousaphone, Andy Dickens - guitar.
