Please join us in congratulating Alexander on his promotion to head kitchen porter!

Alex joined us back in 2023 as a kitchen porter at The Greyhound and has grown into an integral part of our kitchen team. He has been incredibly dedicated and hard working, and in his new role will be overseeing KP standards across The Greyhound and The Old Town Bistro.

A brilliant team member and a great example of how we want people to grow with us as we continue our journey. Congratulations, Alex! 🎉

We’re delighted to share that our Head Waiter, Natalie, has been named an Achiever in the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts’ Annual Awards of Excellence, our third consecutive year with an award winner on the team! 👏

Natalie was recognised following a series of practical and theoretical assessments covering food, wine and beverage knowledge, classical service, table presentation, guest care and problem-solving under pressure.

A fantastic achievement, placing Natalie among some of the UK’s very best hospitality professionals.

It was brilliant to be joined by four boys from , who swapped the classroom for a day on the pass at The Greyhound with George and the team, learning what service looks like in a professional kitchen. They ended their day with a well-earned meal alongside , George and their cooking and nutrition teacher
