🚗 POLITE NOTICE REGARDING OUR CAR PARK 🚗

We always try our best to accommodate our lovely customers, and if you’ve popped in for a drink or something to eat and fancy a little wander around Bawtry afterwards, we’re more than happy for you to leave your car with us for a short while. ❤️

However, whilst we appreciate that we have a lovely, spacious car park, it seems that some people have started treating it as a public car park, which it most certainly isn’t.

Unfortunately, we’ve experienced a few difficulties recently where vehicles have been left in our car park for extended periods, meaning we’ve been unable to accommodate our own paying customers.

Later today, we have two campervans and a large caravan arriving to stay with us for the weekend, which will naturally take up a considerable amount of space.

Whilst we’re always happy to be accommodating where we can, we really shouldn’t have to factor in vehicles being parked here willy-nilly by people who aren’t actually visiting our establishment.

We wouldn’t dream of parking on your driveway at home and heading off into town for the day, so we kindly ask that you show us the same consideration. 😊

We don’t want to come across as unwelcoming, because that’s certainly not who we are, but our car park is there first and foremost for the customers who support our business.

Thank you for your understanding and for being mindful of others.

Our pork belly special has certainly gone down a treat! ❤️

The wonderful feedback we’ve received has been so lovely to hear, and we can’t thank you all enough for your kind words.
To you, they may just be words, but to us, they mean the world 🌍

We take immense pride in the food we serve, and we’re incredibly lucky to have such talented chefs who put their heart and soul into every dish.

And don’t worry if you don’t get the chance to try it this week. Fear not! Our pork belly will most definitely be making another appearance on our specials board! 😍

Served with wholegrain mustard and honey-glazed carrots, accompanied by a pot of apple c***r gravy.

🥩 Due to its popularity, we’re keeping our Beef Dip on the specials board, it’s no longer just a lunchtime treat! Our Beef Dip will now be available ALL DAY!

Here at The Ship Inn, we’re not just people friendly… we’re PAW FRIENDLY too! 🐶

Whether it’s a pit stop after walkies or you simply fancy a trip to the pub with your four-legged bestie, wagging tails and wet noses are always welcome on our BAR SIDE whether you’re popping in for a drink or a bite to eat! 🐾🍻

Water bowls filled and doggy treats at the ready, we’ll make sure your furry friends feel just as welcome as you do! 🦴🐶

And between you and us… we might actually prefer the doggies to their owners! 🤫🐶😂
