Congratulations to Andy McMaster on his 5-4 Win in the Kilt Studio sponsored Peter McLagan memorial trophy against Martin Waugh 👏.

For those who dont know the history of this trophy and one of Bathgates longest standing buildings.. please see a short bio here..
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_McLagan
Peter himself is the reason the institute was built..
A man for the people..
The people who still play here today.
Congrats to Andy..and thanks tonall those who played..
And thanks to the Kilt Studio for remembering Mr McLagan and supporting locally.

Peter McLagan (1823 – 31 August 1900)[1] was a British Liberal Party politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1865 to 1893. He was Scotland's first non-White and first Black MP.[2]

Hello all..
As you know the institute is ran by volunteers..and does not sit cash rich.

We have a company threatening to sue us for NOT using their services.. (as we do and have always used British gas..) but they claim to have a contract signed by us. The name on the contract is not even the correct spelling of one of our signatories and its a digital signature.

Do we have any lawyers here that can advise?
They are threatening to take us to court.. but cant see how..we've never used their service and never agreed to either. Smacks of fraud and fear mongering.
