Golf in the Heart of Scotland. An 18 hole mix of parkland & moorland this tricky and testing par 71 course offers up its challenges to both the average and mor

e experienced golfer alike. There is always a wind driving through the Breichwater Valley adding variation to your game and the golf course. Our signature 18th hole is considered by many to be the best finishing hole of any golf course in the wider area. This medium length par 4 has out of bounds running its full length on both sides of the fairway. When you stand on the elevated tee with a potentially good score this generous fairway and landing zone seems to fade to nothing. It is without a doubt a true leveler for any match going down the last, both for the competitor or less serious golfer. Open to members, visitors and society groups of all ages and abilities Greenburn can provide the challenging play you seek while at just over 6000 yards in length it is not overly harsh to golfers of any ability. In its present location from 1953 and built by the members themselves, it’s motto “Per Nostra Opera” (by our own endeavors) still epitomises the spirit of the club to this day.

We’re delighted to launch our Summer Programme 2026 for P6 & P7 children. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to try golf in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment.

📅 Every Monday & Thursday
🗓 Starting Monday 6 July until Thursday 31 July
🕚 11:30am – 2:30pm
💷 Just £1 per session

Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and golf clubs and balls are available if needed, so no previous experience or equipment is required.

We held a trivia quiz night on Friday to raise funds for Fauldhouse Galaday and its fair to say, it was a fantastic night and a HUGE THANKS to all teams that helped raise £605 for gala funds.

Special thanks to quizmaster Gary Paul for pulling together the questions.

We’d just like to share a couple of emails we’ve received from visiting parties who played our course recently.

1st- Just to say a massive thank you and the staff at the golf course today.

Those who attended from the Royal Scots Golf Club were very impressed with every aspect of the event. Very positive feedback regarding the condition of the course, the layout and challenge.
The catering, Kat could not do enough for us from welcoming us in the morning and then on our return into the clubhouse for soup and sandwiches, again only positive comments from the guys.

Thank you for all your assistance, could you pass on our most sincerest thanks to Peter, Kat and the green keepers.

You have a fantastic Golf Club and I hope we can return in the future.

2nd - On behalf of Swanston seniors can I offer a big THANK YOU to all involved in making our outing to Greenburn so enjoyable.
