The Hop Pole is a traditional pub serving a wide selection of drinks and well kept ales with an emphasis on good quality pub food made here onsite.

Located directly opposite the Victoria Park children’s playground (BA1 3AR) our family and dog friendly pub offers a great spot, both indoors or outside in our spacious courtyard garden, for people to relax after a busy day sightseeing around the beautiful City of Bath and Victoria Park.

Arguably one of Baths best kept secrets (in our opinion anyway!), is our courtyard garden which offers over 70 seated covers across 2 tiers at the rear of the pub. A real sun trap during the summer months...

Our focus on food is good quality homemade pub food using ingredients from some of the best local suppliers we can find. This includes Ruby & White Butchers of Bristol, Wings of St. Mawes The Cornish Fishmonger, Arthur David of Bristol for fresh produce, Mevalco of Bristol for Charcuterie and Marshfield Farm Ice Cream. We are always looking to procure new and exciting ingredients from other local or interesting suppliers...
