Men With Hats Promotions Promotions and recording company based in Basingstoke and London. Men With Hats Records Basingstoke, a more Westerly incarnation of its London counterpart.

Men With Hats Promotions was founded towards the end of June 2011, when partners Stuart "Sweep" Sim and Asher Baker made several discoveries relating to the difficulty and stress involved in booking shows and negotiating with promoters when attempting to organise a UK tour with their band, Chapter Eleven. Men With Hats' first show at the Poison Bar in Basingstoke was a roaring success, and so far

they have worked with bands and artists like Conversations, Misery Squid, Burning Idols and Adam Bennett. Men With Hats currently consists of:
Men With Hats Promotions, responsible for putting on and promoting shows for bands, as well as booking tours. Men With Hats Records London, an in-house (literally!) recording solution and label which deals primarily with capturing and getting into people's faces the otherwise hidden talents of acoustic musicians.

Hello to all you new fans - I recently put on my first show in about a year at the Gunners in Highbury last weekend. It was not too shabby. Whilst I sort out the next one (which I'm thinking will be ACOUSTIC (solo and bands), get to know: if you're looking for a London gig and I can't sort it out, get on to Till The Wheels Tours
and Polite Riot, they won't steer you wrong. :)
