The first of two big announcements from us today as we look towards next season .

This one may not come as much of a surprise to many given the post the other week but for those that don’t know, we will be playing from Barwell Sports Club ‘The Barn’ next season.

The lads have used The Barn as their base for the most part of last season and have always used it when The Lion has closed or changed management, so we have decided they now is the time to move their on a permanent basis meaning we will be changing the clubs name to AFC Barn.

As soon as the name change is approved by Leicestershire County FA, we will complete the process.

Thank you to Kelly at The Barn for making this a very easy decision for us, one that is very popular among the lads.

We are keeping the lion as part of the club crest as it’s been a big part of the journey since day one 5 years ago.
