We are running a premier league fantasy football league this season, if anyone wants to join please send us a message and we will give you the league pin. £20 league entry, £1 for each game week in the season whoever scores the most points for that game week wins the weekly pot.prize money will be paid out to the top 4.

With the gaffer away this weekend, Dylan Attwood took the reins for today’s game and in spectacular fashion, has now got trending.

We travelled over to Sapcote to play Red Lion Sapcote, a newly reformed Conny United, lads we’ve had many good games with over the years.

Attwood opted not to select himself in the squad and was completely focused on his managerial debut.

New faces were in the team, one of whom Corey Revill had to play out of position. He wasn’t going to let that stop him putting in a man of the match performance on the left wing and he soon got his first assist of the game, setting up Owen Thomas to give us the lead.

Sapcote would get an equaliser and may have had a couple more if not for some good saves by Josh Botterill in the Barn goal.

Danny Winterbotham’s return from injury stepped up a notch with him getting his first 90 minutes in several months and he would score the goal that put us back in front, a ball delivered by Corey who bagged his second assist.

Owen then played a nice one two pass with Wes Moore before smashing home his second goal to make it 3-1.

The scoring was completed by Riley Poxon who hit a shot on the edge of the box that sailed into the bottom corner off the post.

Cracking result for the lads, Attwood gave Corey man of the match but there were strong cases put up by Owen and Josh.
The feeling this evening is definitely Attwood in and Niall out.
