The White Swan, Barrowby The landlady, Emma Shuttleworth, worked at the White Swan for many years before taking it on in 2025. Darts, pool and cribbage are played here regularly.

One of few remaining traditional village pubs (Grade II listed) just off the A1 / A52 with lounge and public bar, WiFi, car park and beer garden - dog friendly. A Traditional Pub with good ales, a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. There's always real ales on and Emma continues the tradition of keeping the beers well. The pub has featured in the Good Beer Guide for many years. There are regular music nights and quiz nights too. Food is not currently being served but will be again soon.

Just want to say a big thankyou to everyone who came for the halloween quiz tonight. Lovely to see old and new faces. Thankyou so much to the lovely ladies Katie and Steph Taylor for being the quiz masters. Lots of fun and laughs had by all. 🎃👻

!! UPDATE !! It’s official, the pub will be closing 15th November for a few weeks for the refurb ready to be in new hands. We will keep updating you all with how things are going as much as we can!

Really excited to share this news and we hope you can follow along and come join us when it re opens!

I would just like to say a massive thankyou to everyone who made last night's disco amazing 🤩 thanks to Ray and friend for entertaining us, brilliant disco as always. Thankyou to Karly Bunn for the amazing decorations you did for the party, so appreciate the hard work put it, seeing you're dedication to everything, you will be fantastic running the pub. ❤️ And a big thankyou to the locals/customers/regulars/newbies and most of all friends... the amazing people that you are, and for all your support this last year. Cheers to you all 🍻🥂
