The White Swan, Barrowby The landlady, Emma Shuttleworth, worked at the White Swan for many years before taking it on in 2025. Darts, pool and cribbage are played here regularly.

One of few remaining traditional village pubs (Grade II listed) just off the A1 / A52 with lounge and public bar, WiFi, car park and beer garden - dog friendly. A Traditional Pub with good ales, a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. There's always real ales on and Emma continues the tradition of keeping the beers well. The pub has featured in the Good Beer Guide for many years. There are regular music nights and quiz nights too. Food is not currently being served but will be again soon.
