📢 Opening Hours Update 📢

Just a quick note to clarify our opening hours following yesterday’s post.

The new hours mentioned will come into effect from Monday.

For this weekend, we’ll be open:
🕑 Tomorrow from 2PM
🕐 Saturday & Sunday from 1PM

Apologies for any confusion — we just wanted to make things clear for everyone.

Our Omni darts scorer and dartboard are now fully up and running — so if you fancy a throw, come down and give it a go!

Cask fans — we’ve got good news 👀
We’ve had a brand new cask system installed today, so everything is set up properly and pouring exactly as it should be. By next Thursday we’ll have Loweswater Gold and Timothy Taylor’s Landlord on hand pull and ready to go. Two cracking pints we’re proud to have on the bar 🍺

📢 Notice for This Friday 📢

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we will be closed from 6pm this Friday due to a private party booking.

We want to be completely open with you — this booking was made before we took over The Farmers Arms, and we are honouring it as it was already in the diary.

Going forward, it’s not our intention to close the pub for private parties. We firmly believe a pub should be a pub — open for the community, not closed off — and that’s how we plan to run things.

We’re really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. We’ll be open as normal before 6pm and back to normal hours the following day.

☕🍺 Coffee & Cask (Coming Soon) at The Farmers Arms 🍺☕

Our coffee machine is now fully up and running and we’re serving freshly ground espresso, cappuccinos and lattes — perfect for a relaxed daytime visit or a catch-up with friends.

But the big news for us is what’s happening behind the bar…
We’re currently getting our cask ale lines cleaned, checked and properly set up, so that when they go live they’re in perfect condition. We’re taking our time to do it right, and we expect to have proper hand-pulled cask ales ready within the next few weeks.

We’ll be kicking things off with Loweswater Gold, and we’d love to hear from you — what other cask ales would you like to see on the bar?

We want your first pint from our pumps to be spot on — and worth waiting for 🍺

Pop in for a coffee, a pint, or just a chat — we’d love to see you.
