We now have 15 players qualified for the Grand Finals, with our final spot set to be decided at the Low Level Competition at the end of the month. Once that qualifier is complete, we’ll announce the official date for the Grand Finals.

With that in mind, tomorrow marks a fresh start.

We appreciate that the Grand Finals qualification process has evolved through several changes as we’ve refined the format. Moving forward, qualification will be simple and consistent:

Cue the Celebration: Belmont Pair Whittaker and Lomas Split the Final! 🤝🎱

A huge congratulations to Dave Whittaker and Steve Lomas, who agreed to share the prize money after an excellent night’s work on the tables. 🏆💰

A handy Tuesday League ‘bye’ gave the Belmont teammates the perfect opportunity to enter our Tuesday Flyer, and they certainly made the most of it, showcasing their quality all the way to the final. 🎯🔥

We welcomed 24 players to yesterday’s Flyer, with a great mix of familiar faces and newcomers. It’s fantastic to see the events continuing to grow, with plenty of competitive pool, good laughs, and a brilliant atmosphere throughout the evening. 👏🎱😊

🏆 Joe Osgothorpe Claims the Silver/Bronze Handicap Title! 🏆

Congratulations to Joe Osgothorpe, who battled his way to victory in yesterday’s Silver/Bronze Handicap Competition. In a final that had more twists than a dodgy cue action, Joe edged out Glyn Ashton 9–8, with the winner only decided in the very last frame. Great match and a worthy final!

A huge thank you to all 34 players and spectators who came along and made the day such a success. As always, we’re keen to hear your thoughts, feedback, and any excuses for missed pots.

Special thanks to Lui Wheelhouse for organising the competition. These events don’t just appear by magic (despite rumours), and a lot of time and effort goes into making them happen.

Also, a massive thank you to Summer Dockerty for keeping the bar flowing and the tables in top condition throughout the day. The players may have been under pressure, but at least the cloth wasn’t.

🎱 League Action Tonight! 🎱

Monday sees our pool league team take on Portcullis, with several players making an emotional return to their old stomping ground. We expect handshakes, friendly banter, and absolutely no attempts to switch teams at half-time.

Bring it home, lads! 💪

🔥🎱 Fire in the Ash, ice in the Chambers, honours even. 🎱🔥

A huge congratulations to Sam Chambers and Andrew Ashton, who shared the money in yesterday’s final. 👏

The result secures Andy’s place in the Grand Final, with just one qualifying spot remaining, which will be up for grabs in the Low Level Comp in a couple of weeks’ time. 🏆

Elsewhere, Graham Godfrey claimed the £3,000 prize after a fantastic 21-17 victory over Conor Lynch. 💷👏 We’d like to thank both players for choosing us to host the match and hope everyone who came along enjoyed the occasion. It’s always great to welcome new faces through the doors and showcase what Barnsley has to offer. ❤️

💰 Our Clear the Table Challenge was a rollover once again, meaning the prize fund is now edging towards £500 for next week! 👀🎱 Will somebody finally clear up and take home the cash?

A massive thank you goes out to our staff and everyone who helped behind the scenes. 🙌 It was one of our busiest nights to date, and every one of you put in a tremendous shift. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. 👏🍻
