Hi all, we're in a bit of a pickle...
We have unfortunately missed the deadline to apply for Business Rates Relief, resulting in the huge bill of just shy of £7,700. Our business rates valuation is wrong, whilst we've started the process of getting the premises re-evaluated, this does mot mean we are not liable for the bill. We are doing everything we can behind the scenes to get help with this, including getting in contact with an MP.
As the venue is already struggling with finances, under these circumstances, we initially decided to shut. However, from the amazing support we have received from friends, family and team members, we have decided to try our best to keep the venue open.
We are that lucky that we have had a generous offer from Mike - Fully Lynched to organise a gig to help raise funds for the bill. Blank 182 and Vaguely Average will be accompanying them! This will take place on the 13th of February. More details of the gig will be available soon! If anyone has any information or ideas on how to help with this situation, please bring them our way as we could really do with the help.
