Thank you for visiting this page. We're very sorry to say that the Barnsley Jazz Club is no longer. There was an attempt to continue following the death of one of our organisers, Stuart Currie, this unfortunately did not succeed.
We'd like to thank all our supporters, audiences and especially the hundreds of bands that have played at the club over the many years of our existence. Thank you, it was great while it lasted 🎷🎺🎹🎤

Announcement: Jazz events are starting again in the Bluebell Suite, Fairway Hotel, Barnsley, 2-5pm on the last Sunday of each month.

The fabulous Washington Whirligig, with band leader Dave Hepworth will be playing on 30 January 2022.

Doors open at 2.00pm, band plays 2.30pm- 3.30pm, 30 minute break, then band plays 4.00pm – 5pm.

Tickets available beforehand £10.00 each. Advance booking required.

Dance floor available for those who like to dance. Food is available at the Fairway Hotel pre the jazz event and afterwards.

The beautifully refurbished Bluebell Suite can seat 200 people and is well ventilated.
