Celebrating Our Achievements and Looking to the Future!

Dear Community,

We are proud to announce that Friends of Mapplewell and Staincross (FOMAS) has successfully organized three beer festivals in our community, which were greatly enjoyed by all who attended. These events allowed us to raise funds to purchase Christmas lights for the village, which added a touch of warmth and joy during the holiday season. We are grateful for the overwhelming support we have received from the community, which enabled us to make a real difference. We want to thank everyone who helped us along the way, from volunteers who helped set up the events, to local businesses who generously donated to our cause. Without your support, none of this would have been possible. FOMAS is a community group that believes in bringing people together to create positive change. Our aim is to support worthwhile causes and make a difference in the lives of those around us. As we move forward, we are looking for new and exciting opportunities to continue our mission and make a real impact in our community. We encourage you to get involved and become a part of our growing network of supporters. Whether it's by attending our events, volunteering your time, or donating to our cause, every little bit helps. Together, we can make a difference! 🍻❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS! ❤️🍻

As another Mapplewell Beer Festival comes to an end, we want to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to every single one of our amazing volunteers. 👏

From setting everything up and getting the venue ready, to serving drinks, helping visitors, keeping things running smoothly and clearing everything away afterwards — you’ve all played a huge part in making this year’s festival happen. 🍺🎉

So much work goes on behind the scenes that our visitors don't always see, and it takes a fantastic team of people giving up their time to make the festival the success it is.

Whether you've volunteered for an hour, a whole day, or been with us throughout the entire weekend — we really couldn't do it without you. ❤️

What an amazing Saturday at this year’s Mapplewell Beer Festival! 🍻

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make yesterday such a fantastic day. The atmosphere was brilliant, and we hope you all enjoyed the beers, food and live entertainment! ❤️

🪪🍺 CHALLENGE 25 — PLEASE BRING YOUR ID! 🍺🪪

A quick reminder to everyone attending the Mapplewell Beer Festival:

We operate a Challenge 25 policy. If you are lucky enough to look under 25, you may be asked to provide valid photographic ID when purchasing alcoholic drinks. 🍻

👉 If you look under 25, please bring your ID with you!

Accepted photographic ID should be valid and include a photograph and date of birth.

🚫 No valid ID = No alcohol sale

This policy applies throughout the festival, so please don't be offended if our volunteers ask you for ID — they're simply doing their job and helping us keep the festival safe and responsible.

Your £5 entry includes:
🍺 Entry to the festival
📖 A festival programme
🍺 Your very own 2026 festival glass to take home!

🍻 HOW DO THE TOKENS WORK?

Tokens can be purchased from the entrance and can be paid for by cash or card.

🔴 4 RED TOKENS – £10
For drinks from the cask pumps

🟢 4 GREEN TOKENS – £12
For drinks from the keg wall

And there’s plenty more to choose from:

🍺 Cask (½ pint) – 1 Red Token
🍺 Keg (½ pint) – 1 Green Token
🍎 Cider (½ pint) – 1 Green Token
🥂 Single measure Prosecco (bottle) – 3 Red Tokens
🍷 Wine – 2 Green Tokens
🥃 Spirit & Mixer – 2 Green Tokens
🥤 Soft drinks – £1 cash at the Gin Bar
