I’m putting some feelers out because we’re potentially looking for another member of staff to join our little team here at The Old Bridge Inn.
I’m not just looking for someone who can pull a pint and work a bar. I’m looking for someone who gets what we’re about.
Functions and events are a huge part of what we do gender reveals, birthdays, weddings, funerals/wakes, parties and everything in between. There’s a huge amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to make these days and nights run smoothly, so someone who understands events, has a good eye for detail and is happy to get stuck in would be a massive bonus.
If you have food experience, even better!
We need someone who:
• Can confidently work a bar
• Enjoys being part of functions & events
• Has food experience or is happy getting involved with food
• Understands that hospitality means evenings & weekends
• Isn’t afraid of a busy shift and getting stuck in
Most importantly actually wants to work in a pub!
At the moment this would be a casual, as-and-when position, but for the right person there’s every chance it could turn into regular hours. Please only apply if you have good availability / flexibility.
Unfortunately this role WOULDN’T suit a student due to needing availability through the week / flexibility.
Late night working / lone working.
I’m not in any rush to fill the position I’d rather wait for the right person.
