Following today’s report by Blog Preston, we can now finally share this publicly.

This has been a difficult and frustrating matter for us as a business, but it has now been dealt with through the proper legal process and resulted in a conviction.

We deliberately chose not to comment publicly while proceedings were ongoing. Now that the case has concluded, I’m happy to let the court outcome and the facts reported speak for themselves.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout, particularly our loyal staff and customers.

Hopefully, we can now draw a line under this and move forward.

📢 Walton Arms Future Update

We know many of you have seen the recent planning application and understandably have questions, so we'd like to reassure everyone.

🍻 The Walton Arms remains open as normal, and we are continuing to take bookings for functions and events.

Planning for the future is simply part of running a responsible business.

The planning application forms part of our long term business planning and allows us to consider all options over the next three years.

Like many businesses in the hospitality industry, we have to look ahead and have a strategy in place for whatever the future may bring.

❤️ We also have a turnaround plan in place and remain fully committed to the Walton Arms. No decision has been made to close the business.

📅 If you have a function or event booked with us, your booking remains confirmed, and there is no need to make alternative arrangements.
