Century W**e Club returns on Thursday 5 November at 7pm 🍷

Our guest host is Ciarán Meyler of W**e Down with Meyler. He brings 35+ years in w**e, the WSET Diploma, and visits to almost every major w**e region in the world.

He’s presenting his most popular tasting, Get to Grapes With It: six of the world’s best-loved grapes, each with a small food pairing. Full-bodied Chardonnay or crisp Sauvignon Blanc? You’ll know the difference by the end of the night.

Around the World in 6 W**es

The Century W**e Club goes global this month. Join us on Thursday 1st October at 7pm, when guest host Peter Thompson of Robb Brothers W**e Merchants takes us through six w**es from six corners of the w**e world.

Each w**e comes with cheeses and cured meats chosen to match it. It’ll be a relaxed evening with good company and the stories behind the bottles.

Dave Cummins, aka Beardy Dave, brings Di**le Distillery to the Century. A guided tasting through their wh***ey collection, a signature cocktail, and a charcuterie board in between. Dave knows his wh***ey and he knows Di**le - expect stories as good as the drams.

TASTING OF THE CENTURY

Thursday 17th September, 7pm

Century Bar, Ballynahinch

Di**le Distillery Di**le are coming north, and they are bringing Beardy Dave with them.

Dave Cummins Dave Cummins is Di**le’s Global Brand Ambassador, and if you have been to a wh***ey festival anywhere on this island you have probably already met him. He is the fella who pours you the dram, tells you the story behind it, and somehow makes an hour feel like ten minutes. Ask anyone who has sat through one of his tastings. They remember it.

Di**le is the real thing. Independent, family-owned, first spirit off the stills in a converted sawmill in Milltown back in 2012, and the first independent Irish distillery in decades to put out a single pot still. Small scale by choice. Quality over quantity, always.
