It’s time to say farewell to the OLD YEAR and hello to a NEW YEAR!

With a NEW YEAR sometimes it brings change and that change is coming your way!

We are stepping back from the bar to continue mums fight back to good health as she starts next year with treatment and on going support following 2 cancer surgeries this year.

We will still be about the bar from time to time and so for now it’s not a complete goodbye ..

We take this opportunity to thank you all for your support through many difficult times in the life of the bar and for us personally - remain supportive and enjoy local, in your local!!

The bar will be open from today and everyday from 11.30am under New Management!
Our very best wishes with the new team as they take on the bar and restaurant!

More information on the restaurant reopening will be available soon.

- Potato & truffled leek soup, homemade wheaten mini loaf, salted butter

- King prawn & avocado salad, gin spiked Marie Rose sauce, crispy tempura prawn. Warm Guinness wheaten

- Smoked bacon ceasar salad, sourdough croutons, aged Parmesan, pit roasted chicken

- Panko coated breaded mushroom, cream cheese, pancetta & chive filling. Roasted garlic aioli, greens

Main course

- County Antrim butter braised turkey and ham roulade, cranberry and sage stuffing, winter market vegetables, beef dripping roast potatoes. Turkey jus

- Grass fed sirloin of Irish beef, creamed potato, homemade duck fat Yorkshire pud, tender stem broccoli

- Pan fried fillet of salmon, lemon boxty potato cake, shellfish and white wine sauce, buttered greens

Dessert

- Warm belgian chocolate fondant , sea salted caramel sauce, vanilla bean ice cream

- Guinness sticky toffee pudding, butterscotch sauce, toffee popping candy

- Sticky date and orange Christmas pudding, brandy bread sauce, Baileys chocolate ganache

- Warm apple and winter berry crumble, spiced berry compot, warm vanilla creme anglaise

Join us on Tuesday 15th October at 7pm in The Glensway Tavern & Farmshop, Glenravel Co.Antrim for a celebration of pasture reared pork from the wee braid farm shop.
Chef Rob Curley from Slemish Market Supper Club will showcase traditional cuts of pork in innovative ways .
This will be a 5 course Tapas menu course held in the Glensway Tavern. Chef Rob will be showcasing a farm to fork Tapas / Wee Bites menu .Each dish will feature produce selected for quality and taste from The wee braid farm shop and local suppliers like Rowandale Creamery & Slemish Market Garden which are combined to demonstrate the high level of food on our doorstep every ingredient is selected to allow diners to experience our food traditions of the land which are important to our area’s gastronomy.
