🥧 A little taste of Bakewell history…

Did you know the famous Bakewell Pudding dates all the way back to the 1800s? Legend has it that it was created quite by accident when a jam tart didn’t quite go to plan — and thankfully, the delicious result became a Derbyshire favourite!

Today, there’s nothing accidental about it… buttery pastry, sweet jam and that delicious almondy filling make the Bakewell classic.

And of course, there’s only one question left…
