Powerhouse Rock Club Classic Rock, Grunge, Alternative, Indie Club We've been asleep since the early noughties but we’re awake now! Bring your socks, we're gonna rock them off!!

Powerhouse is a rock club that was started in the late 70’s / early 80’s and, as well as running massively popular club nights every Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday at The Piv in Ayr, Powerhouse was also responsible for bringing some of the biggest live acts to Ayr including Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Ian Gillan, Faith No More, Gary Numan, Billy Idol (Gen X) & Gun to name just a few! We’ve always been about the music and we play the best Classic Rock (AC/DC, Metallica, Guns & Roses, Def Leppard, Aerosmith etc), Grunge & Alternative (Nirvana, Disturbed, Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam), Punk (Pistols, SLF, Undertones, Damned, Siouxsie & The Banshees) & Indie-ish (Stone Roses, Oasis, Pulp, Blur) stuff. Our next big event is the Christmas Eve Bash….in June! Saturday the 25th of June is the date for your diary and Venue 38 in Ayr is the place to be!!
