Our horsebox has been lovingly refurbished to the highest standard, with a luxurious rustic feel. Adorned in French grey, with bespoke copper panelling and fittings, live edge oak counters and shelving, vintage filament and LED lighting with a Sonos sound system to enhance the atmosphere. h which folds down into a deck to create a full pull out bar at the back. Fitted with a state-of-the-art beer chiller system, triple fridge, running hot & cold water and our own power supply if required, we can literally set up anywhere. As standard, included in our hire fee, we supply outdoor tables and chairs to create an area for your guests to perch, mingle and socialise and festoon lighting & up-lights to create an enchanting backdrop around the bar as the light fades. We are also able to offer a rustic wooden bar for hire, which dovetails perfectly with the horsebox should you also require an indoor bar, or if your venue doesn’t have the space to accommodate a horsebox. For corporate events or venues looking to increase their bar capacity we can also customise our horse box bar and wooden bar to your own branding. The Jumping Jockey Bar can be hired with or without alcohol and our beer chillers can be removed. Based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, The Jumping Jockey Bar is the brainchild of my wife and I. Bringing an unparalleled wealth of experience, I have spent my entire adult life employed in the events and hospitality industry. From working in private service, managing bars, restaurants, and prestigious events venues, to organising and co-ordinating more than 300 weddings and running my own successful event management and catering business. My wife Claire, whose professional background is now in healthcare, is no stranger to the hospitality industry. From pulling pints in bars, fulfilling various roles contributing to the running of large public events whilst at university, to working several ski seasons in Austria as a travel representative post study. Included in our booking fee we provide everything required for the perfect bar service. We stock a diverse range of products from locally produced real ale, draft lagers, cider, wines & prosecco to premium spirits & mixers. We offer a choice of biodegradable cups or glassware if the venue permits, along with paper straws, garnishes, ice, a state of the art beer chiller, a triple bar fridge, an events licence if required and a minimum of two uniformed professional & friendly bar staff. As standard, our set up includes outdoor tables & chairs to create an area for your guests to perch, mingle & socialise, with festoon lighting & up-lights, creating an enchanting backdrop around the bar as the light fades. CASH BAR
Our most popular option, which is hassle free and ideal for those of you who prefer a stress-free experience. For a flat fee and a deposit for agreed minimum bar spend* you will have full use our stunning horsebox bar. We will provide the staff, stock, ice, chiller fridges and disposable biodegradable cups & straws – glassware available for an additional fee and if your venue permits. Hire Fee:

*Minimum drinks spend will depend on guest numbers and if we are the sole bar provider. As the client, you will pay this up front one week before the event and it will be refunded back pro rota after the event depending on how much your guests’ drink. For example, if the agreed minimum spend is £500.00 & your guests only purchase £450.00 worth of drinks, £450.00 will be refunded to you. However, if your guests spend £500.00, we will refund the entire £500.00 drinks deposit
HOSTS BAR
As a host you can treat your guests. This could be in the form of a complimentary drink on arrival such as a glass of fizz or a special cocktail, a specified amount behind the bar or giving your guests drinks tokens to redeem. Once your prepaid amount has been used you can either top up or we will then revert to a cash bar whereby your guests will pay for their own drinks. Hire Fee:

A minimum £500.00 prepayment a week before the event is required. However, the amount will vary depending on the number of guests, the drinks chosen and how generous you are feeling. PRE-PAID BAR
If you are feeling generous and wish to treat your guests, the 'Pre-Paid' bar option hire provides free drinks of your choice for your guests for the duration of the event. However, the amount will vary depending on the number of guests and the drinks chosen. DRY HIRE
This is perfect for when you want to host an event and supply your own drinks or would like to expand or complement existing bar facilities at your venue. Hire Fee:

The Jumping Jockey Bar can be towed to any location and be set up to cater for a wide variety of events. With no fixed template it allows you to be as creative as you like and together we will work with you to devise something completely bespoke. Our standard hire cost is £350.00 per day and is payable at the time of booking to secure your date. If a minimum bar spend deposit is required, we request this payment is made at least one week before the event. What is included within the hire cost? Our stunning horsebox bar for your chosen date and duration of your event. We are equipped with a triple drinks fridge, Sonos sound system, running hot & cold water as well as a state-of-the-art beer system to provide cold draft lager, ale & cider.

Do you need a power supply? Ideally yes, we require access to power via a standard household plug. We have our own extension lead which allows us to operate up to 50m away. If we are unable to connect to your venues’ mains electricity on the day, we can operate via our own generator. What type of events can you cater for? When will you need to set up and what are your requirements? Setting up the Jumping Jockey Bar at your venue is quite straightforward We require an area of level ground which is easily accessible for our horsebox to be positioned and ideally a space of 3m around the horsebox to allow us to set out seating for your guests & erect the festoon lights. It takes us approx. 2-3 hours prior to your event to get everything ready to welcome your guests. If possible, we would also visit the venue prior to your event to ensure we can set up as efficiently and we can liaise directly with your venue to arrange this. Where are you based and what areas do you cover? We are based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and cover the surrounding area of approximately 50 miles. We are more than happy to travel further, which may incur a small additional cost. What is your staff uniform? Our staff are smartly dressed in black with branded slate grey aprons. What do you serve drinks in? We serve our drinks in disposable biodegradable clear cups. Glass hire can be provided for an additional cost and if the venue permits. Do you obtain the event licence? A Temporary Events Notice (TEN) is legally required to sell alcohol at a private event, we will liaise directly with your local authority to book this on your behalf. The cost of the TEN is included within our booking fee.
