Im sh*t at golf.
And Iām going to be sh*t for a very long time if I keep going the way Iām going.
Why?
Because Iām inconsistent.
I know nothing about how to properly play golf.
I watch the odd YouTube video and hope itās going to completely change my game.
Then I see another video with conflicting advice,
So then minute I step up to the ball thereās 100 different thoughts going through my head.
I donāt know which one to listen to.
F**k it, Iāll just hit the ball.
Tops it.
Ball goes approximately 2 feet in front of me.
Practice makes perfect they say?
Not if youāre practicing the wrong thing.
So what can I do about it?
I can keep making the same mistakes over and over again and just hope that one day Iāll wake up as a prime Tiger Woods.
Or I can do what any sensible person would do and hire someone whoās better than me to teach me how to play properly.
And to hold me accountable to practicing more than once every couple of weeks.
Imagine I actually done that?
Iād get a lot better at golf a lot quicker.
Hmm.
Now youāre probably sat there reading this thinking āIām actually quite good at golf, why should I care?ā.
Well, while youāre good at golf, Iām good at the gym.
And if youāre reading my posts, then thereās a decent change your physique progress isnāt going quite the way youād hoped.
Youāre likely making the exact same mistakes with your training and nutrition as Iām making with my golf.
Too proud to ask for help, or too stingy to pay for it.
Hoping that one day it will just click, but in reality you have no idea what youāre doing.
Well I say f**k that.
Life is too short to mess around, especially if youāre 30lbs overweight and statistically speaking youāve got less time than me to sort it out.
