You already know what to do.

You know you should train more often.

You know you should eat more protein.

You know you should stop drinking so much at the weekend.

And you know you shouldn’t rely on a sudden rush of motivation.

None of that’s news to you.

So why are you still out of shape and unhappy with how you look?

Because the problem was never knowing what to do.

The problem is that every time life gets busy the gym and your diet are the first things to go.

Work gets hectic.

You’re running around after the kids.

Stuff on at the weekends.

So you miss a couple of sessions at the gym.

And your nutrition goes to sh*t.

You’re telling yourself the usual ā€˜I’ll get back on track Monday’.

Knowing fine rightly there’s absolutely no chance you will.

Look I get it, you’re busy.

But everyone’s f**king busy, it’s not just you.

Most of the people I work with are juggling jobs, families, social lives and about 100 different responsibilities at the same time.

None more than Robin, who’s one of the busiest guys I know.

But he’s not shredding fat now because he suddenly found loads of spare time.

He’s getting leaner by the day because we’ve made a plan that worked around his lifestyle.

Short, effective training sessions.

Simple nutrition.

Because getting leaner isn’t about making fitness your entire life.

It’s about having a plan that doesn’t rely on you having a perfect day to stick to it.

One that works even on the hectic days.

That’s what most people are missing.

Not more information.

Not motivational speeches.

Not a fancy new training programme.

A plan they can actually follow consistently.

Im sh*t at golf.

And I’m going to be sh*t for a very long time if I keep going the way I’m going.

Why?

Because I’m inconsistent.

I know nothing about how to properly play golf.

I watch the odd YouTube video and hope it’s going to completely change my game.

Then I see another video with conflicting advice,

So then minute I step up to the ball there’s 100 different thoughts going through my head.

I don’t know which one to listen to.

F**k it, I’ll just hit the ball.

Tops it.

Ball goes approximately 2 feet in front of me.

Practice makes perfect they say?

Not if you’re practicing the wrong thing.

So what can I do about it?

I can keep making the same mistakes over and over again and just hope that one day I’ll wake up as a prime Tiger Woods.

Or I can do what any sensible person would do and hire someone who’s better than me to teach me how to play properly.

And to hold me accountable to practicing more than once every couple of weeks.

Imagine I actually done that?

I’d get a lot better at golf a lot quicker.

Hmm.

Now you’re probably sat there reading this thinking ā€œI’m actually quite good at golf, why should I care?ā€.

Well, while you’re good at golf, I’m good at the gym.

And if you’re reading my posts, then there’s a decent change your physique progress isn’t going quite the way you’d hoped.

You’re likely making the exact same mistakes with your training and nutrition as I’m making with my golf.

Too proud to ask for help, or too stingy to pay for it.

Hoping that one day it will just click, but in reality you have no idea what you’re doing.

Well I say f**k that.

Life is too short to mess around, especially if you’re 30lbs overweight and statistically speaking you’ve got less time than me to sort it out.

So drop me a message for some help shredding fat and building muscle.

And if you know any good golf coaches then even better.

Dieting is hard.

But handing your diet after a diet is even harder.

I’m not saying this to scaremonger, it’s genuinely tough.

Food focus is higher than ever.

Your appetite is through the roof.

And because you’re not dieting anymore it feels like reigns are off.

You’re free to eat whatever and whenever you like.

But that freedom catches up on you, and your body is ready to gain back every lb of fat you’ve lost and more.

I know because I did this so many times myself.

It took me 5 attempts to finally get a reverse diet right.

So unless you’ve got 5 years to waste, I’d suggest giving me a message if you want to shred fat and keep it off.
