The Rose Inn is a great country pub offering something for everyone, its situated in a picturesque village with a beautiful duck pond. The Rose is a fantastic place to eat and drink, whether its in the summer sat around the duck pond or in the winter sat by the welcoming open fire.

As you will probably know, Tim and I have decided to retire and ride off into the sunset with our two best friends, Star and Gem, (our springer spaniels). We left the pub today and wish, Steve, Nathan, Martin and the team all the very best and hope they have as much fun as we have had. During our 9.1/2 years at the Rose Inn, we have welcomed thousands of you into our home and have had lots of laughs with you. We’ve celebrated your family occasions whether it be engagements, weddings or the birth of children and grandchildren. We’ve also shared your heartache and cried with you in the difficult times. Some of you we are more familiar with than others and we know that some of you will remain our friends once we are retired but, we want you all to know that we have enjoyed your company and couldn’t have made this business the success it is without you all and without our amazing team that make everything happen. We’ll miss you all.

Customers leaving the pub tonight have just spotted two girls in our duck pen. The padlock has disappeared. Keep and eye on your animals. One girl approx 5ft 2ins and one slightly shorter both with dark hair. As the customers came over to the pen the girls wandered off but not sure in which direction.

Just want to say a big Thank You to all our staff who worked on Saturday. Our gas supply had not been delivered so it was a massive challenge but thanks to everyone's efforts, we managed to look after everyone with only a minor delay and our quality didn't suffer. Thanks again.
