Following consultations and diagnoses from the health team who are treating me it's looking like I'm not going to be able to continue operating the pub efficiently and it's looking increasingly likely that I'm going to have to call last orders for one final time after 24 very happy and enjoyable years as your landlord. I have been advised by my accountants that it would not be advisable to enter into a new tax year and so to cease trading before the end of march. I would like to thank you all for the unbelievable support you have given me over the last (almost) quarter of a century. I have made many new friends and acquaintances along the way and I've also lost and said my farewells to many more. If I had the chance to do it all again I would do so without hesitation. So it is with a heavy heart I have got to announce that I will be aiming to close the front doors for the final time on the 23rd March. Once again I thank you all for the support you have given me over the years but unfortunately every old dog has his day. ❤️

Thursday 23rd of January there will be no bingo and the pub will be closed for the day due to staff attending a funeral.. we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Bingo will be back on the 30th and the pub will be open as usual Friday 24th
