If you’re a l***r drinker come and try some of the German Helles l***rs in our b**r fridge 🍺:

Ayinger Privatbrauerei 4.9%. A clean and crisp l***r with malty and herbal hop notes.

5.2%. A nice balanced blend of sweet maltiness and mild bitterness. Bottom fermented giving it a crisp and clean taste

Paulaner🍻 4.9%. perhaps the best known of the Munich German l***rs. Has a mild and gentle sweetness with a soft background hop bite. A clean and crisp later.

Open until 7.30pm tonight. Come and enjoy any of these and more we have 6 taps as well as wines, spirits and an eclectic fridge.

Next week we’re chop-a-block with events for Halloween so free up the week.

Wednesday: back by popular demand is the craft night run by our very own fannyrasche. Pumpkin carving, making or just come and have a natter. Last weeks was so fun we’ve added this extra date 🎃

Thursday: gluten for punishment fannyrasche is back again with the offbeat, funny and stylish Halloween themed quiz night. There’s loads of prizes including a cash pot, free membership and voucher to spend on booze, records or our gift shop.

Friday: we’re delighted to have the esteemed and glamorous OXXY hosting karaoke night. Come and have a go just for the thriller of it.

Saturday: after a month away we’re excited for the return of the Yonner ★ All Vinyl all vinyl DJs. Brilliant soul, northern, 80s music and plenty of others in the mix. great vibes and a bloody lovely way to finish the Halloween week.

We’re open until late tonight so head over and enjoy a bevvy. It’ll be Harri Shanahan serving up thr liquid gold show your love and say hi 👋.

Come and warm your cockles with one of our high end Spict Margarita. No pre-mix, no sub standard ingredients. We use only the best quality.

We always use freshly squeezed lime juice, agave syrup, a little Tabasco and 100% agave tequila like this Olmeca Altos Tequila.

100% agave means that every single fermentable sugar used to make the tequila came exclusively from the Blue Weber agave plant (Agave tequilana), with no added cane sugar, corn syrup, or other cheap additives. It must be bottled in Mexico and certified under Mexican standards.

Shaken with style and served with elegance. All you can do is sip with your little finger stretched out and breathe what has made you tightly wound.

We’re open today until 9pm as well as the rest of the week usually hours.

Hello there, this is us, Dean and Anne Louise, who run The Nico Ditch. You will be familiar with our faces, and in case you aren’t here they are! This is us in a random selfie we don’t remember taking, us outside our former ambulance Campervan, on a walk, with some gorgeous artist pals who also happen to be staff, who we recently did a project with (Over at Wandering Palate ), with the Mayor and a cardboard cut out of Harry Styles having won our Best Bar in Ashton award, dancing at NYE with the shutters down, in a caravan (Why not), at the opening of our Beyond The Frame exhibition, on another walk, and then just one of Dean casually hanging out at the bar. And finally, a wonderful review we recently found of ourselves on Trip Advisor! Now you know who we are and what we are about, if this hasn’t put you off, come in and see us tonight when we are both working. Ashton-Under-Lyne has a lot to offer. Let’s make ‘Fruity Friday’ a thing by sampling some of the fine, flavoursome, palate popping cans and bottles from our eclectic fridge. Here are just some including:

Two of the classic and finest cherry b**rs on the market from Kasteelbier by Vanhonsebrouck 7% and Chouffe UK 8% both boozy and rich in deep flavour. We also have Rodenbach’s refreshing Belgian fruit b**r Fruitage 3.4%. Some add ice and even a shot of tequila but I prefer it straight from the fridge to a tulip glass and into the cake hole. You could try Schöfferhofer classic grapefruit radler 2.5%. Great for hangovers offering that perfect balance of a little booze with a little sugar. There’s the really elegant raspberry b**r 5%. You’d have a hard time chucking away the packaging and bottle after guzzling this little fella. Closer to home give the Tiny Rebel ROGUE a go. A 4% grapefruit pomelo citrus-cut 440ml can. Last but not least is Vault City Brewing ‘s really interesting Orange Creamsickle sour b**r. This modern sour will make you think you’re drinking a tangy ice lolly but at 4.8% it’ll support your more questionable Friday night life choices.
