Our Old Street shutter is having a bit of a wobble and it’s decanted its motor (we’ve all been there).

Don’t let that deter you though and whilst we’re awaiting its repair let’s show our love to the Bow Street entrance which is steadfastly still servicing our collective needs.

We’re open today from 3.30pm until 7pm so come over and don’t forget cask is BUY ONE GET ONE FREE today and tomorrow 🍻

The perfect post pride catharsis with tamesideq***rmeet last night. After the sad loss of two of the finest q***r icons, both born in the same year and died on the same day something felt missing and empty that was found and made full again through creativity, collaboration & connection (and a LOT of glitter). Rocky Horror played, Dolly sang and cocktails were drank, and we filled the canvases with many little bits of magic (canvases expertly outlined by the very talented .mayd ) Thank you tamesideq***rmeet for your ever brilliant ideas and selves 🙏🏽🌈🍸

We are The Nico Ditch? A grass roots cultural venue and bar in the centre of Ashton Under Lyne.

We are not just a community space, we are a platform for groundbreaking contemporary art. Whether that’s music, painting, performance, film… we’re as ambitious as you! And we understand the importance of grass roots venues for creatives developing their trade and building audiences.

We’re looking for local or regional artists in all forms to showcase your skills in our venue. Get in touch

We’re currently scheduling for the rest of the year and have some slots available so get in touch with your proposal (particularly October-December). Whether it’s a gig, an art exhibition, a film screening, a networking event/workshop or even a chess club we’d like to hear from you.

Tonight is a perfect vinyl cocktail of and - We are very fortunate here to have home of two of the most brilliant, joyous, gorgeous vinyl nights - and tonight they have married for merriment we are all enjoying. Cosmic and yonner - two folk of such honour and we do want to take the chance to honour Dolly. We all are of course, but we had her stand tall while short of stature to patron our ashton-under-lyne pride: we didn’t know then just a month back we might be bringing her cardboard cut out back down for more celebration and this time just for her. The nico ditch is made up of people of realness, poor, rich, tall, small, we all have big large hearts and put them into what happens here. A toast to Dolly, and a toast to and - who embody the real spirit of creative freedom and brilliance! We are a coat of many colours. Big love 💛💚💜🤍❤️🖤🩷💙🌈🙏🏽🫂

2-4-1 CASK today all day but come and get it before it’s gone! It’s the lovely very dark brown from WE ARE WOLF BREWING . This delicious full bodied (and satisfyingly strong at 5.4% ABV was made using an old recipe from Saddleworth Brewery who were previously based at their site. It’s only available for a limited time only so come and give it a sup 🍻
