Next up at The AJC, we cannot wait to welcome one of fastest rising stars in the jazz world, the absolutely fabulous Olivia Cuttill!
Olivia Cuttill is a London-based jazz trumpet player and composer, and a Leeds Conservatoire graduate. She is the recipient of multiple accolades including the APPAG Martin Hummel Award, Peter Whittingham 2024 Award, and Presti Music’s Newcomer of the Year, and was nominated for APPG Best Newcomer. Following the release of her debut album The Whole Damn Plan (2024), Olivia toured the UK, performing at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and the Southbank Centre. Her second album, …And Writing And Singing And Tunes To Be Swingin’, was Jazz FM’s Album of the Week and sparked a European tour. Rooted in jazz and blues heritage, her soulful sound draws on New Orleans traditions and expressive storytelling.
