All maintenance work now complete today......
✅️ Table 2 - Recovered in Hainsworth match green
✅️ Table 5 - Recovered in Strachan 861 Blue.
✅️ Cloths rotated out and all deep cleaned and remarked to T3 & T4 to ensure ALL tables in the club are of a high standard
✅️ All balls cleaned.
✅️ We also continue to valet tables and clean balls every week.

Memberships for 'Premier Pool 2026' are now being taken.

Gary Stoker has taken up the position of Booking Manager 2026, all details below 👇

1. To request to become a member and join the new group please message Gary Stoker directly for approval, he will then send Bank details to transfer the £10 membership fee.

2. Once payment has been received an invite / link will be sent to you to join the new 2026 members paid group.

3. Members who have paid, will be able to collect their new Key from the bar from Monday 5th Jan, it will be in a sealed envelope with your name on and new membership number.

4. We are no longer Accepting 'cash for Keys' as sadly some keys have ended up in non-members hands or people who haven't paid, hence the move to bank transfers and all new keys and all new padlocks from Monday.

5. If you don't have internet banking please find someone that does and you can give them the £10, they can then transfer on your behalf.

6. 2026 Membership will be the same as last year , £10, this will go towards: All new keys, All New padlocks, New Metal table locks, New balls and a New ball box.

7. Tables 1,2, 5 will be locked as members only tables and available for booking, there will be a locked 'ball box' for members tables. Tables 3, 4 will be walk in / open tables and the balls for these two kept behind the bar downstairs.

8. There will be a list of membership rules / requirements being posted shortly, i.e. Using the racking cloths, locking and covering tables after use, checking your tip - No sharp cue ferrules.

9. All 5 tables are £3 per hour.

Welcome to Premier Pool Ashington

We have 5 supreme pool tables and are located above the New Premier Club, Woodhorn road, Ashington, NE63 9AE

We are a 'Part Members Club'

Tables 1, 2
£3 per hour
Members only - Locked & covered.
Membership card to be left with staff as a ball deposit

Tables 3, 4
£3 per hour
Non Members & Members welcome
£10 Ball Deposit required

Table 5 - (Arena under construction)
Currently £3 per hour
Non Members & Members welcome
BUT will be moving to £4 per hour and by private booking only for members only once the Arena is built.

Club Rules:

⛔ No bringing in your own drinks - you risk being barred
⛔ No large groups around tables, 4 per table max
🔞 No under 18's after 7pm unless a your're member AND have agreed prior with group admin
🤝 Respect the tables and fellow players in the club.
✅ Non members are welcome to play with paid member

Membership is £10 per calendar year, then £5 to renew (1st Jan 2026)

TO BECOME A MEMBER
Contact Alan Yates who will provide payment details.
Once paid, you will be issued a unique membership number and added to the private
Premier pool paid members group
Where you can book members tables in advance.
If we don't know you, then you will need to be seconded by an existing member.

Pool room is now back open after the function yesterday 👍🎱
Tables 3,4,5 all available for walk-ins
Tables 1 & 2 can be booked in advance via the private group.

Still a few bits left to do but the club is now looking 👌 😎🎱.

Tables 1 & 2 freshly recovered in Hainsworth Match cloth and can be pre-booked via the private FB group. When not in use must be covered & locked.
3,4,5 available for walk-ins.

Also waiting on keys for the new cue locker.

Please see club announcements below:

1.Recover work starts next week, we will be moving to Hainsworth green match cloths going forward.

2. With the cost of everything going up, gas electric, cloth, wages and general business overheads, The pool will be moving from £2 to £2.40 per hour - Still cracking value.

3. A big metal locking cabinet has been purchased for a cue locker, keys can be bought at cost.

4. Tables 1 + 2 will be both be locked with
coded padlocks and can also be booked for king of hill matches etc.
Table bookings taken via the FB group, a pinned post will be always be visible to all to show bookings.
Players don't have to book these and of course tables 3,4,5 will always be open for walk ins

5. A brand new table iron has been bought, all balls will also be refreshed and another yellow scoreboard purchased.
