Right, so… we’ve had a bit of a mare.
Our OG mega screen has sadly decided it no longer identifies as a screen. RIP big lad, you served us well.
We’ve managed to sort a replacement at very short notice, but because we like being upfront with you, after the first night game we noticed it’s a little bit pixelated.
By “a little bit pixelated”, we mean you can absolutely still see what’s going on… but the further back in the yard you sit, the better it looks. Think less “ultra HD cinema experience” and more “World Cup Italia ’90 nostalgia package”.
Because of this, if you booked a table in The Hot House, we’ve moved your booking into The Beer Hall instead, where you’ll still have the football, the drinks, the food and considerably fewer pixels having an identity crisis.
The Yard will now be:

And despite the screen drama, the mild technological breakdown and Big Boss Steve losing another 4 years off his life expectancy, we still had the best football atmosphere in Ashford.
So come down, grab a pint, shout at a screen, pretend you understand VAR, and enjoy the chaos with us.
