Ring O' Bells Ashcott

Ring O' Bells Ashcott The Ring O' Bells is a traditional village pub noted for its home-cooked food and real ales. It has been run by the same family for nearly 33
years.

The older parts of the pub date from the 18th century and consist of three cosy bar areas on different levels. Later additions include a restaurant seating 30, and a function room which incorporates a skittle alley (seating up to 80). The function room is ideal for special events such as birthday parties and wedding receptions, celebration lunches and dinners, and can also be hired for business m

eetings and conferences. There is free wifi access in all areas. At the rear there is a large garden and patio. Families are welcome and dogs are permitted in all areas. Over the years we have won various awards for our home-cooked food, which we source with local produce wherever possible. We have also won awards for the quality and variety of our real ales, which are selected from an ever-changing range. The pub features in the Good Pub Guide, CAMRA's Good Beer Guide, and various other guides and websites. The pub is 3 miles west of Street and 5 from Glastonbury and is convenient for Ham Wall, Shapwick Heath and Greylake Nature Reserves.

We are delighted to welcome THE REDHILLBILLIES to the Ring O'Bells on Friday 15th October, for an evening of foot tapping country music. This six piece band will play a selection of traditional country, 50s and more recent tunes, with insurgent rhythms and 5 part harmonies.
The Redhillbillies are made up of six musicians. Tom Vowles on banjo, Jo Lee rhythm guitar, Ern Panes on bass, Danny O on accordian, Steve Downton on harmonica and Kearan Wright on drums. So come along and join in with one of the best country Bands in the Souith West. From 7.30 til late.

On Friday 29th October we welcome Somerset crooner Andy Sheldon. Andy is coming along to entertain us for our Thatchers cider night starting at 7.30. Some will remember him from a similar night at the Westbury Inn recently, where he sang a his way through a selection of country songs and ballads.
