At the centre of Ashbourne’s Market Place, The Brass Button continues a legacy that began over 100 years ago as the Ashbourne Ex-Servicemen’s Club. Originally founded as a place of camaraderie for those who served in the British Armed Forces, the club has long stood as a cornerstone of Ashbourne life — a place where service, friendship, and community come together under one roof. Today, The Brass Button is open to all — from serving and ex-serving personnel to Ashbourne residents, club members and tourists exploring the Peak District.
