The Ju**ie Miracles is coming to Arbroath!

The Ju**ie Miracles is a play featuring the true stories of four people in recovery. Des Dillon, the playwright, known for the play “I’m no a Billy, He’s a Tim” also wrote The Ju**ie Miracles.

Stuart Falconer, a senior member of 12 Step Productions is starring in the play. Both Stuart and Des are in recovery and keen to share stories of recovery via the play, highlighting the difficulties around substance use and the associated stigma. All royalties from the pay are being given to the Riverside Community Trust In Ayr, where those who shared their stories are from and is still a vital part of their recovery. https://riversidecommunitytrust.org.uk/
Stuart is keen to come to Angus and will visit prior to the play, attending some of the Wellbean Cafes.

Please see the attached for further details which also includes a small video clip of the 2022 show in the Gaiety in Ayr.

A timebank is a community-based exchange system where people trade skills and services using time, rather than money, as the currency. For every hour a person spends helping someone else, they earn a "time credit". This credit can then be used to "purchase" an hour of help from another member of the timebank when they need it. Timebanks emphasize that everyone's time is valued equally, fostering mutual support, building community spirit, and helping members feel more confident and connected within their neighbourhoods.

Do you want to get involved in a new project in Arbroath which could build neighbourliness, increase social connections and develop kindness in the community?

Following a local consultation, a local group of people are looking to set up a Timebank within Arbroath. This new and exciting project aims to increase social connections and networks within Arbroath, by using time and skills as a principal currency. Similar initiatives have been very successful in other parts of Scotland and the UK, and local feedback has been positive.
