The Royal Oak Appleby is an award winning family run Inn (voted the best tenanted and leased pub in the UK 2012/13) nestled in the unspoilt Eden Valley and only 20 minutes from the Lake District. Offering 8 high quality bedrooms and a superb 2 bedroom holiday cottage, our newly refurbished restaurant can seat up 62, with a cosy lounge featuring a real log fire and a dog friendly tap room, we serve quality British pub food and of course never less than 3 local cask ales to sample. We are looking forward to seeing you soon, we are sure you will not be disappointed.

Just to let everyone know we will not be open on Thursday until 2.30 pm as we need to do some sanding and varnish work on some tables ! So no lunch time service sorry !
BUT we will be open from 2.30 pm and food as usual from 5pm ♥️

There voluntary work does not go unnoticed, and we were only to happy to invite them to a small afternoon tea on us ! They do such a amazing job ♥️
