We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came on Saturday to celebrate Matts 102nd birthday! What a fabulous turn out. Couldn't do it without you all. The support was immense and to everyone who contributed towards the day to make it as successful as it was we appreciate you very much ❤️

From jam tarts to meatloaf to a beautiful sweet hamper donated by Morgan’s Sweets Emporium for our first place fancy dress winner (runner up prizes too) We have an amazing day planned for you all. Matt will be here for 2pm 🎂 and Rachel will be singing outside 🎤 (weather permitting) shortly after.. Thank you to Bojangles Bistro Appleby for the buffet, SPAR Appleby and Tracy Williams for donating decorations and plates and napkins, Sheila Banks for the meatloaf ( Sarah Banks ) and my nana Bernice Butler for making jam tarts 😋 Kerrie Moor for face painting! Yorkshire Wartime Event for decorating the pub and the decorations! The pub looks great. Military vehicles in place for 2pm. Looking forward to seeing you all, everyone welcome 🇬🇧 Raising money for Help 4 Homeless Veterans
