💚⛳ A SPECIAL MOMENT FOR ANDOVER GOLF CLUB! ⛳💚

Yesterday was a particularly special day for the club, Junior Charlie Critcher and our new Head Professional Kevin Caplehorn proudly represented Andover Golf Club together at Basingstoke Golf Club.

Having spent countless hours together over the years as player and coach with Hampshire, it’s wonderful to see their golfing journey continue together, now representing the same club.

Yesterday marked a new chapter, as for the very first time, they were both flying the flag for Andover Golf Club!

Short game skills, strategic planning, shot shaping and a 9 hole qualifier to finish, Better Never Stops! ⛳️💚

JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP — A DAY TO REMEMBER! 🏌️‍♂️

Andover Golf Club was absolutely delighted to host our Junior Club Championship today — and for the first time in a very long time! It was a fantastic day enjoyed by everyone, and the club is incredibly proud of all the juniors who took part.

Congratulations to all our competitors:
Charlie, Archie, Max, Arthur, Noah

What an incredible finish! Our two leading players battled it out all the way, ending up playing an amazing 20 holes of golf today — going to two playoff holes to decide the champion. What a tremendous achievement from both young men 👏

🏆 RESULT:
🥈 2nd Place — Charlie Critcher
🥇 Junior Club Champion — Archie Harkin

A huge thank you to Sharon, Marie and Terry for all their hard work today walking the course, supporting every player and making sure everything ran smoothly — we couldn't have done it without you!

We were also honoured to present the Les Parfitt Trophy, donated by the Parfitt family in memory of Les Parfitt, a much-loved longstanding member of our club. It was wonderful to have Steve Langdown here with us for the presentation and to walk the playoff holes with us — a truly special moment.

The support from our members and committee today was fantastic. Thank you to everyone who came along to cheer on our juniors — it really meant the world.

Well done to every single junior who took part. You're all a credit to Andover Golf Club ⛳💚
