After a fantastic charity day on Saturday in memory of Anna joyner the family would like to do a few thank yous and give you a small summary of the day
In some tough conditions with wind and how hot it was everyone managed some really good scores in the scramble and in 3rd place was beers and birdies with 55.4 in second place was the four skins with 54.6 and the winners of the day with a cracking score was the captains select with 54.3. A huge well done to all the teams that played we can't thank you enough.
We also had some individual prizes to be won on the day they are as followed
Closest to the pin on 6th tom plant
Closest to the pin on 17th Shaun Stone
Longest drive on 18th Harvey Joyner
Darts golf with the highest score of 128 Jake Compton
And the putting competition where there was only one person who holed the longest putting Keith Maddocks

Some big thank yous now to Carole Louise Winterbone for doing what she does best, gives absolutely everything to the day and makes it run so smoothly for everyone, and to the captain Mark Thorne who helped us so much to get this day to what it was and on the day he didn't stop trying to raise as much money as possible and for getting alvin does elvis who was fantastic and made the evening a great event we can't thank you enough.
We would like to thank sid and Gary Whitehorn for setting the course up it was in great condition and the greens were superb and angie for helping all day couldnt have done it without you
This day was really special for us as a family as it was 5 years since we lost Anna and we wanted to do something special for her, in her final days of fighting she was in the Countess of Brecknock and what they do for everyone up there is incredible and couldnt do it without the support of the local community raising money for them, and im please to announce we raised a huge number on the day £3300 so from Gary, Aaron, Lydia and faye we are so thankful for you all you made the day so special for us.
One last thanks and that is to Andover Golf Club for letting us hold this special event
