❤️ 11 YEARS AT THE ANGEL INN! ❤️

This Saturday, Halloween, marks 11 whole years since I first walked through the doors of The Angel Inn as an 18-year-old girl. 🥹❤️

I was just a little lost soul, studying art at college, with absolutely no idea where life was going to take me or what I wanted to do with my future.

And somehow, 11 years later, here I still am. Only now, at 29 years old, I'm the landlady, running the very pub I grew up working in! 🥹🍻

How crazy is that?!

What an incredible 11 years it's been. I've laughed, I've cried, I've made mistakes, I've learnt some of the biggest lessons of my life, and I've grown up within these four walls.

I've gone from being that young girl behind the bar to becoming a mum to two beautiful children, finding my feet in life and eventually taking on the responsibility of running this wonderful old pub all by myself.

And that is something I'm genuinely so proud of. ❤️

But the biggest thing The Angel has given me is family.

Not just the people I've worked alongside over the years, but the customers too. The regulars who have watched me grow up, supported me through different chapters of my life, celebrated the good times and been there through the difficult ones.

Some of you have known me since I was 18, and now you're watching me run the place! That's pretty special when you think about it. 🥹

The Angel Inn has been so much more than just a job to me. It's been my second home, my biggest learning curve and a huge part of the person I've become today.

Who would have thought that little 18-year-old art student, who didn't have a clue what she was doing with her life, would one day be running the oldest pub in Andover?!

11 years, two beautiful children, countless memories, a whole pub family and now a business to run.

I don't think that 18-year-old girl would ever believe where she'd end up, but I think she'd be incredibly proud of the woman she's become. ❤️

Thank you to every single person who has been part of my journey, past and present. You've all played a part in making The Angel what it is to me today.

Here's to 11 years of growing up at The Angel Inn, and hopefully many more years of making memories! 🍻❤️

🎃👻 TRICK OR TREAT AT THE ANGEL INN! 👻🎃

We're getting into the spooky spirit this Halloween! 🕷️🧡

As part of Andover's Trick or Treat event, we'll be setting up a table full of Halloween goodies outside The Angel Inn for all the little ghosts, witches and monsters! 🍬🍭
