Just an update. Despite being the clown the character and the life and soul of the party, Roy was a very private man inside. Following his wishes there will be a cremation only, ( he’d never been to a funeral and didn’t intend to start now!lol) and Ben and I will say farewell to him by taking his ashes out to his friends in Greece. We will go out into the bay where they live and return him to the sea. (Feed me to the fishes he said. Chuck me overboard and feed me to the fishes! I’ll travel the ocean again. ) he wanted no flowers no wake and no donations so remember him with a smile if you can. Pop a ‘pound’ into a lifeboat or poppy box. . yes, you can hear him now can’t you? ‘Pound!!’ Lol. Remember all the good times and all he taught us. RIP Roy. We loved you.

We spoke to Ava* who lost almost £33,000 after responding to a text message about a ‘suspicious payment to Airbnb’. The scammers spoofed Lloyds Bank’s usual phone number, which was sandwiched between two genuine messages so she called the number supplied.

Official figures show that banks told 77% of fraud victims that they were partially or fully to blame for losses, making them ineligible for reimbursement.

The current data is anonymous but we want banks to publish this data to encourage consistency and improve reimbursement rates.
